Also, the girl on his back is his subordinate, LaLu (Shortened from Lady Luck, i’m so original haha) She acts sort of like his assistant while Demise is still “Demon King”, before the great war. She knows her place, knows that she is greatly inferior to Spade, and therefor worships him as a god. She offers Spade whatever it is he wants that she can provide for him. Anything. Though, by contrast to Spade’s naturally talkative nature, she is entirely silent. She ends up dying in the Great War, using herself as a distraction to provide the milliseconds necessarily for Spade to make an escape to safety.
Spade will admit that he does miss her companionship at times, and her warmth at night, but he refuses to admit anything beyond that, regardless as to his emotions. He often has nightmares about losing her, but he has come to master hiding his emotions.
